Home of The Royal Bengal Tigers.

BANDHAVGARH

Renowned for its high density of Royal Bengal Tigers and as the origin of all white tigers, this former Maharaja’s hunting ground is now a premier wildlife destination. Discover Bandhavgarh's picturesque landscapes, including meadows, dense forests, and rivers, while observing its rich biodiversity, which includes tigers, leopards, wild boar, jackals, and various deer. Enjoy private safaris with up to six guests per jeep, each guided by a naturalist.

See the temples.

KHAJURAHO

This tiny village is famous for its remarkable complex of temples built in an inspired burst of creativity between 950 and 1050 AD under the Chandela kings. Of the original 85, only 25 survive and each is a masterpiece dedicated to different deities. You will visit the most significant and outstanding
of the three groups of temples, these are among the group referred to as the “western group”.

The oldest living city in the world.

VARANASI

One of the seven holy Cities of India, Varanasi is the holiest of them all with a spiritual and religious legacy that goes back 5000 years.

It is also the oldest living city in the world. Situated on the banks of the holy river, Varanasi is known as “Kashi”, the city of light. The focal point of the city is the “Ghats” or steps that lead down to the river.

Take a serene walking tour of the Ghats, where you'll follow in the footsteps of pilgrims. Unlike the bustling mornings, sunset brings a quieter atmosphere with temple bells ringing and priests preparing for the evening “aarti” ceremony, while distant crematorium fires and a few pilgrims taking their final dip in the river create a reflective scene.

Home of the Taj Mahal.

AGRA

This was the seat of the mighty Mughal Empire before it shifted its capital to Delhi, and it is home to some of their most inspired architectural creations including the Taj Mahal. In the 16th and 17th century, the Mughal Courts were at their most powerful, and were great patrons of the arts.

Rising early you visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise when it is at its most beautiful, the marble reflecting the nuances of the rising sun. This mausoleum was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Rajasthan home stay.

SHAHPURA BAGH

Here you will find Holi or the “festival of colours”, it is a 2 day festival which represents, the abundance of spring. As part of celebrations on this day people throw coloured powder and water on each other, and dance to the sound of drums.

You will start the day with the family dressing you in traditional outfits for the celebrations. You will then join them in the family temple for the prayer ceremony before the celebrations start. This is followed by joining the villagers in the procession from the palace to the main temple accompanied by beating drums and cymbals. You meet the sages and watch the rituals.

A labyrinth of fascinating bazaars.

JAIPUR

A labyrinth of fascinating bazaars, opulent palaces and a futuristic observatory, Jaipur was the inspiration of the ruler Sawai Jai Singh, who moved the capital from Amber in 1727.

Here you can start your tour of the pink city with an especially curated walk that introduces you to the living traditions of the area. It showcases the arts and the artisans, traditional medicine men, the small exquisite architectural jewels tucked away in the lanes and shrines and temples most of which are over 300 years old. It highlights an old world life style, a contrast to the glitzy malls and modern homes of the city existing outside the walls.
